How do I start my own hosting company?
When you want to have your own hosting compamy, you have several options. Each of them has advantages and disadvantages. You should evaluate each of them and decide which is best for you.
- Buying a dedicated server, and selling hosting accounts on this server. This may be the most flexible option, but is also most troublesome. You have to create your comany's website, set up order processing, create a shopping cart for your customers, and so on. - Signing up for an affiliate program with one or more hosting company. This will allow you to sell their hosting services for a certain percentage of total sales. - Buying a reseller hosting account. This is a mix of the above two options. You still need to do some business and technical jobs (such as sales processing) but not as much as if you were hosting everything on your own server.
