Should I use free hosting?

It depends on what kind of website you are about to create. Free hosting services have many limitations, which you should consider carefully. Some of them are:

As you can see, free hosting is okay for some types of websites, and certainly not at all for others. If you want to create a simple personal homepage for your family and friends, you can surely sign up for free hosting service. If you want to create a site for your company, then you shouldn't even think of that. Also, if you want to create a popular page for wider audience, you should also consider commercial hosting because you will soon find that storage or bandwidth limitations of your free host are to limiting for your website growth.
