No Time for Design?
Save time by using templates for your next web site. Your site will look better than ever!
HTML is a special language in which all web pages are written. It consists of instructions for the Internet browser, such as "display an image here" or "start a new paragraph". The browser reads the HTML code of your web page and displays it according to the instructions specified in the code.
To see how HTML looks like, right-click on this page and choose the "View Source" option. You will see the HTML code for the page you are viewing. Note lots of words which are put between "<" and ">" characters. These words are the HTML instructions.
You don't need to know HTML to create web pages. Programs like Microsoft Frontpage automatically create it for you. However, if you learn it, you will have more control over how your website looks like. HTML is not hard to learn, although it requires some practice.
